Eg:
1、 Basic information of hospital laundry volume
1. 1000 beds (estimated to be 300 wards)
2. 600 medical staff
It is expected that the average usage rate of the ward is 85%, and the medical staff's work clothes are washed every two days on average. The laundry room operates for 8 hours.
2、 Estimated laundry volume:
1. Sickbed
(1) Bed sheet: 0.25 KG/bed × 1000 beds=250KG
(2) Quilt cover: 0.4 KG/bed × 1000 beds=400KG
(3) Pillow case: 0.15 KG/bed × 1000 beds=150KG
(4) Sick clothing: 0.25 KG/bed × 1000 beds=250KG
(5) Curtain: 2 KG/room × 1/30 × 300 rooms=20KG
So the wet washing volume per ward: (250+400+150+250+20) * 85%=909.5KG
2. Hospital work clothes
0.5 KG/set × 600 sets × 1/2=150KG
3. Hospital Others
(1) Surgical gowns, tablecloths, and other surgical supplies: 200KG
(2) Office supplies: 60KG
(3) Carpet, office curtains, etc.: 150KG
(4) Other: 50KG
Total:
Daily laundry volume: 909.5+150+200+60+150+50=1579.5KG
Daily and hourly washing capacity: 1579.5KG ÷ 8 hours ≈ 198KG/hour
Equipment required: fully automatic washing machine, isolated washing machine, industrial dryer, ironing machine, folding machine.
